Scoliosis is a progressive 3-dimensional curvature of the spine that requires specific therapy to address and improve tolerance to daily activities. Lindsay’s goal in treating scoliosis is to help you understand your curve and learn techniques to improve postural awareness and tolerance to all activities. She also specializes in sports related injuries, particularly enjoying working with athletes of all ages, along with post-surgical injuries. Lindsay has a particular interest in working with young women/ athletes of both high school and college ages who may need a more specific approach to strength training to improve peak performance during athletic season.
Lindsay is an avid long-distance runner and enjoys running with her very energetic healer, along with weightlifting with both her husband and brother. She is eager to join the 360-wellness team and provide one-on-one quality care to allow people to fully engage in life.
Hi! I’m Dr. Brooke Wheeler, PT, DPT, a pelvic floor physical therapist passionate about helping women feel strong and empowered, knowing that their bodies are fearfully and wonderfully made. I earned my Bachelor’s in Exercise Science at Liberty University in Virginia where I met my husband, Jonathan. I went on to complete my Doctorate in Physical Therapy at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center, graduating in 2020.
I love working with women through all seasons of life- whether it’s navigating pregnancy, healing in the postpartum period and beyond, overcoming pelvic pain, incontinence, constipation, and overactive bladder, or returning to sport and fitness. I focus on the body as a whole and provide individualized treatment approaches including myofascial release, cupping, dry needling, and optimizing pelvic floor strength and mobility without Kegels to address your specific concerns and goals. My favorite part of my job is spending dedicated one-on-one time with patients and making them feel seen and supported. What a privilege it is to help women not accept the narrative that “this is my new normal” and getting them back to doing the things they love to do!
Outside of the clinic, I am a wife to a fifth-generation cotton farmer and mom to three wonderful kids- Paige (4), Brooklyn (2), and Weston (our newest little guy who’s just a few months old). I enjoy lifting weights, running, iced lattes, baking sourdough and fresh-milled bread, and reading a good book when I can sneak in a quiet moment.
It is such an honor to serve women, walking alongside them in their health journeys towards healing while empowering them to feel confident and capable. I can’t wait to work with you!
